How to get to UV_2012 by car?

 

From Malacky you need to get to Rohožník. There on the main crossroad turn left to the direction to Plavecký Peter or cement factory Holcim. After approximately 500 m, behind the petrol station, turn right to the direction to cement factory Holcim. On the next crossroad turn right to the direction to the fields (follow UV_direction sign). Cross the railway (follow UV_direction sign). On the next crossroad turn right (follow UV_direction sign). After approximately 1,5 km you will reach the festival area.

 

From Bratislava via Lozorno, Jabloňové, Pernek, Kuchyňa, Rohožník to the petrol station behind Rohožník. Behind the petrol station, turn right to the direction to cement factory Holcim. On the next crossroad turn right to the direction to the fields (follow UV_direction sign). Cross the railway (follow UV_direction sign). On the next crossroad turn right (follow UV_direction sign). After approximately 1,5 km you will reach the festival area.

 

 

How to get to UV_2012 by bus?

 

To Rohožník is possible to get by bus only, public transport by train was cancelled several years ago. For travelling from anywhere you can find your route at www.cp.sk.

 

Get off the bus in Rohožník at the bus station. From here simply follow UV_direction sign. Distance from village to festival area is approximately 1 km.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Festival area

Area of the festival is situated at the foot of the mountains Malé Karpaty, which are classified as protected landscape area. Specific place, where the festival is located, is locally entitled Konopiská.

 

Food – drinks

You do not have to be worried that we leave you hungry or dry. Many tasty specialities and traditional festival food will be ready for your comfort.  You will get honourable draught beer, though you can savour quality wines. Please note that it is prohibited to bring into festival area own drinks and food.

 

Safety

In festival area will be available non-stop health care. In case of occurrence of any health troubles please turn to our paramedics. Alongside of festival area is located small lake, in which the bathing is prohibited. Into the festival area is prohibited to bring weapons, pyrotechnics, sharp objects, glass bottles and glasses. Organizer of festival reserves the privilege to order out each person, which will violate these safety rules or will in another way endanger safety of visitors and peaceful atmosphere of festival. This person will be not entitled to recover his/her money for ticket.

 

Drugs

Consummation or distribution of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance in the festival area is prohibited. Person, who will violate this prohibition, will be ordered out from the festival area. This person will be not entitled to recover his/her money for ticket.

 

Camping & parking

For visitors will be available camp site and nearby this also parking area. Parking will be charged 1,5 EUR/car per the whole time of duration of festival. In festival area will be available sanitary facility and drinking water. All information about festival is available also in brochure, which will be disposal at the entrance of the festival area.

 

Bathing & swimming

15 minutes by walking southwards from festival area is located water reservoir with conditions for bathing, swimming and sunbathing. You can there also rent water bicycles or play volleyball. Please note that there is no lifeguard anywhere in the area of the water reservoir therefore swim is at your own risk.
